Wicketkeeper Ben Scott has signed a one-year deal with Worcestershrie following successful loan spells with the club over the last two seasons.Scott, who has been on the Middlesex staff since 2004, has helped add experience to Worcestershire’s side following the departure of Steven Davies to Surrey.”I enjoyed my time at Middlesex thoroughly, winning the Twenty20 and having the opportunity of playing for England Lions, and I’m looking forward to new challenges at New Road,” he said. “The atmosphere and set-up at New Road is superb, they’ve been extremely welcoming to me over the last two years and I am delighted to make it full-time.”In 11 Championship matches this season he has scored 432 runs at 39.27 with a high score of 73 and has bagged 28 catches along with three stumpings.Steve Rhodes, Worcestershire’s director of cricket, said: “We’re thrilled that Ben will continue his association with us when his latest loan period ends. He adds energy, enthusiasm, and experience to the team, which will be vital attributes when we look to improve and progress in 2012.
